This is a board I've been super amped to ride after watching the STAB in the dark with Jordy.
The first few waves on the Radius felt similar to the Voyager 1 but the more waves i caught the more i picked up on it's subtle differences.
It has a deeper concave and higher bottom rocker than the Voyager which gave the board plenty of bite on steeper drops and endless drive through turns, this suited the conditions to a tee!
On the steeper waves the board had so much control, After a while i noticed that turns i would normally have to nurse or wash off speed for I could go into a little harder knowing that the board could handle it.
With its thin tail and pulled in outline i wouldn't recommend this board as a groveller but when the waves are on it feels like it wouldn't skip a beat.
The Radius to me is the kind of board you will do your best surfing on when the waves are perfect and i can see why Jordy picked it as his favourite after 2 weeks in the Mentawais.
Heres two waves from day1 on the Radius.
