An afternoon on Pyzel & Chilli

We had an early start to Spring with a week or two of clean winds and a nice run of swell (perfect conditions to try new equipment).

Chilli Surfboards: Faded

Jay Davies has been riding the Chilli Faded for a few months now and is calling it his favourite all round board for the Southwest. It's hidden volume and well rounded outline have been helping him lay rail, blow tail and thread tubes from Yallingup to Margaret River. The Faded is also glassed to last with a 6x4 oz deck and a 4oz bottom that also has twin carbon strips giving this board plenty of extra strength.

Jay's fin choice is the FCS2 MF large.

Pyzel Surfboards: Voyager 1

Sam has been spoilt rotten the last few months and has had the luxury of riding a handful of boards. The Pyzel Voyager1 is what he has been riding when the waves are good which lately has been everyday. The low entry rocker gives the board speed without working too hard but is complemented with a slight tail flip that allows the board to be jammed in the pocket when the section presents its self.
