We have been selling chilli surfboards from the very beginning. With a little hiatus through covid and a few factory changes the twin tech is back and better than ever!
Lach and Sam linked put one morning with the Chilli Volume II and put together a quick little review for us.
After driving around for 3 or so hours they found themselves back at where they started at an old childhood favourite. The Volume II Twin Tech is Chilli's all-around shortboard in EPS/EPOXY construction.
Twin Tech is light, strong and very fast channelling that new board feeling every time you surf. Twin Tech is Chilli's latest EPS/EPOXY construction. Twin Tech offers a performance-orientated flex pattern that's designed to simulate a traditional stringer surfboard but with an Epoxy/EPS 'new board feeling' every surf. Most of the strength comes from the 'Twin Carbon' strategically running up the centre of the deck and bottom. This creates a strong flex pattern that accentuates speed and produces that 'pop and liveliness' but with an underlying feeling of predictability.
Jay Davies - 95kgs puts the Hot Knife and Rarest Bird models in the new Twin Tech construction to the test in average West Australian conditions. Jay rides the 5'11 x 19 5/8 x 2 5/8 -32.3 Hot Knife and the 5'10 x 20 1/4 x 2 1/2 - 32.0 L Rarest Bird
