Chris Chapman has been putting plainer  to foam for around 28 years and in that time he has learnt a thing or two about what boards work in the Margaret River/Yallingup region. 

Chappy shaped boards for former WCT surfer Jake Patto for years and together they fine tuned board design to suit waves all over the world, in particular the waves around Jakes home in the SouthWest. Throughout their relationship Chappy's boards assisted Jake in claiming multiple tour results around the globe at places like Hawaii, Bells, Reunion Island and of course Margaret River.

It wasn't long before  Chappy's boards caught the attention of other world tour surfers who were struggling to find the right board for Margaret River. Since the early 2000's Chapstar surfboards have accumulated a number of wins and finals re Margarets.

These results have earned Chapstar surfboards respect amongst the worlds best surfers who now give him the call up if their chasing a last minute board for the event.
