SPINE-TEK (EPS + EPOXY)

CHANNEL ISLANDS EXCLUSIVE

We are proud to work in collaboration with Shapers Australia to launch SPINE-TEK; a precision engineered stringer utilizing a unique composition of berglass and resin. SPINE-TEK is advantageously compatible with polyurethane, polystyrene and epoxy. SPINE-TEK is designed through the principles of elastic energy, to ex under pressure and then return the surfboard back to its natural rocker, providing surfboards with a more lively and responsive feel.

Overall, SPINE-TEK delivers superior strength, durability and ex-based performance to Channel Islands surfboards. Weighing less than four ounces, SPINE-TEK replaces traditional timber stringers and is virtually break-free. Installed in the surfboard deck, SPINE-TEK allows the board to load up on energy and respond with exponentially more drive, with increased reactiveness, speed and ow.

With the overall rocker being quite flat and the concave being shallow the Fever is a forgiving performance board. The slight kick in the tail gives it flair in the pocket and hold in the barrels, but the board fly's through flat sections of waves. Surfing anywhere from beachies in Perth, to secret points down south, to big fat Yallingup the Fever is going to excel.

When ordering the Fever  stick to your volume which should give you around the same length as your standard short board. You will probably find it has a bit of an easier paddle with a little bit more foam under the chest than your standard short board

Dont miss out on one of the best boards to date from Channel Islands.
